Why Is Virat Kohli not the best batsman in the world?

Hello all!! This is Suven Jagtiani writing this blog. As you know I am a CRAZY Indian cricket fan, there is no point in me not loving the best Indian batsman of the modern era. But still I am not convinced that Virat Kohli is the best batsman of the world.[What??] After reading this,you would criticize me a lot but sometimes truths are very bitter and this one case where the truth is bitter. So let us see, why this is true ? 

VIRAT'S  STRENGTHS

Yes, Virat has many strengths[You would be happy reading this]. So, what are his strengths ??

1. He has a very good footwork due to which he is a very good batsman against spin. He also reads spinners very well and therefore he does not have any major weaknesses against variations in spin.
2. He has no problem in hitting boundaries ,so he is also a very good hitter and this is even true because he has a very good strike rate for a no. 3 batsman even in T20's.
3. He is even a very good batsman against fast bowling [but has some technical issues which we will discover later] He does not have any problem in playing express pace and he even picks up slower deliveries very well. Playing short balls is also not a problem for Virat.

So, why is he not the best if he has so may strengths?

HE EVEN HAS SOME WEAKNESSES

Virat has some weaknesses which critics have observed all over the years and let us see them now:     

1. We saw this weakness back in 2014 in England when he was struggling against swinging deliveries. Every Indian batsman was struggling in that tour versus England but no one struggled as badly as Virat did. James Anderson and others kept on bowling the perfect good length on the 5th stump line and swung the ball from east to west which made Virat edge the ball and hand it over to the slips.
2. Whenever  a ball is bowled wide from the stumps[just close to the wide line on the off side], Virat throws his bat for playing a drive and edges the ball many times and again hands over the ball to the slips.

You now know the weaknesses of Virat Kohli but some of you would disagree telling me that Virat has corrected all these issues, but let me ask you how do you prove that his corrections were successful or not ?

After the 2014 tour of England when did he come across with the difficult conditions that he faced in England? The answer is ,very less number of times and whenever he came across difficult conditions he was not always successful.[This is the time when you would get angry with me but sorry for that] 

 DO OTHER BATSMAN NOT HAVE WEAKNESSES ??

Virat is not the only person having weaknesses. Even others have a lot of weaknesses.

SO THE CONCLUSION IS THAT EVERY BATSMAN IS HAVING WEAKNESSES,SO WHY MUST WE DECLARE A BATSMAN TO THE BEST??[This is not right]

So, please don't declare Virat as the best batsman. This becomes very unfair to other batsman of the world who are comparable to Virat. [ You would not find many stats in this blog because I am not a big fan of comparing players with the stats they have]
