Has Cricket become tougher for bowlers?

Irfan Pathan and Shoaib Akhtar
In the past, bowlers used to take wickets but now bowlers are becoming more useful as batsmen!!
Hello all!! This is Suven Jagtiani writing this blog and needs more of your support to write such more blogs. I am a big follower of cricket and I hope even you are. I have been watching cricket from a lot of years and I have even seen the average totals of teams getting higher year after year. Batsmen are hitting bowlers out of the park more easily. All this leads us to the question that is cricket getting more tough for the bowlers??

ANALYSIS ON THE QUESTION

Over the years, cricket boundaries have come more inwards or in other words the radius of cricket stadiums is reducing.[What is this leading to?] This is leading to batsman hitting more boundaries and scoring runs has become more easy. The force with which the bat hits the ball also depends upon the bat's thickness or depth. The thickness of bats used by batsman has also increased in this modern age.[ But you can even then tell that the more thickness of the bat also allows catches to be carried to fielders more easily] But for the batsman to give a catch, the batsmen also must be deceived. Now, for deceiving batsman you need pitches that even help the bowlers to some extent. But where are such pitches created now ?
Pitches are made dead flat which just help the batsmen. So now there are 3 aspects supporting the batsmen in modern cricket. What are the aspects supporting the bowler??[ This question would bring you to some thinking] So YES, now you know that there is some imbalance in cricket. This imbalance is clearly not helping the bowlers. So what is ICC and other cricketing organizations doing about this??

SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM

So we know from the above discussion that there are 3 important things to be corrected[If you know any other problems other than the three then please mention in the comments]

THE BAT THICKNESS PROBLEM:

MCC or Marylebone cricket club has decided that from October 2017 the depths or thickness of the cricket bats have to be reduced to 67 mm. The highest depth of cricket bat now is 85 mm used by David Warner.

THE BOUNDARY SIZE PROBLEM:

ICC has made a rule that the minimum distance from the pitch to the boundary[square boundaries] must be 60 meters and the maximum distance has to be 82 meters[straight boundaries]. All stadiums have boundaries in these limits but the sizes they keep is closer to the lower limit which has eventually made the boundaries smaller making it easy for batsmen.[So ICC you have to make the rules even more stricter].

THE BATSMEN FRIENDLY PITCH PROBLEM:

Sorry cricket fans, ICC has not made any RULES regarding this problem.
The one problem I have here is that when Indians make spin friendly pitches then ICC has a lot of issues to raise. But when some other countries make absolutely flat, batting-friendly pitches then there is no issue  raised, Why so???

So cricket fans, cricket is not any more an unbiased game. You must rethink your love for cricket.
